During the exam we are going to perform tests appropriate to your complaint to help us figure out what’s going on and exactly where the pain is coming from. Many of the tests are hands on where you will be asked to either resist in a movement, palpate the affected area, test reflexes, or we may move a joint or muscle group and apply pressure to that area. As mentioned, sometimes imaging is necessary, and we have a digital x-ray system available at our location to save you time and a trip to another facility. This helps us to indicate if this is a condition that we can help you with or if we should refer you out to another provider best suited to what we believe is going on.
